BASEL PEACE FORUM 2026

The 10th Basel Peace Forum took place on 22 January 2026 at the kHaus in Basel.  With 240 on-site attendees, almost 100 virtual attendees and 50 distinguished speakers from around the globe, the event was a tremendous success.

10 years Basel Peace Forum—a milestone spanning a decade of profound global shifts between war and peace. This period has witnessed pivotal events, from the peace agreement with the FARC in Colombia to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, reflecting both the fragility and resilience of the international order. Over the past decade, public discourse has increasingly focused on war, security, and geopolitical divides. Yet, behind the scenes, the yearning for peace has remained a persistent force driving diplomacy, civil society, activism, art, research, and innovation.

The 10th Basel Peace Forum reflected on this transformative decade, amplified the voices of those who shaped peace during turbulent times, and provided forward-looking perspectives on the evolving challenges and opportunities for peace in the years that followed.

See you in 2027!
